As you all know, we are flag planters around here. We plant international flags to diversify our finances and our personal security in a fast-changing world.

We also plant flags in our personal lives. One of those flags is our health and that of our family. Without health there is no real freedom. And to our amazement we have learned that our health is in our own hands. For the most part it is not genetic beyond the fact that most of us live and eat the way that our family taught us to live and eat. For this reason we often manifest the same degenerative diseases–arthritis, heart disease, cancer, autoimmune and other diseases–as our family did.

We  have published in the past that, in every single survey of the health in advanced countries, the United States is the last on the list. Even though we think we have the best health care, we are the least healthy. Consequently, Americans continue to take more and more pharmaceutical prescriptions and over the counter remedies–and become sicker. Something isn’t working.

At the same time, there are cultures that have proven that we can live normal lives into very old age. Two of those cultures have been the Hunzas, and the residents of the Vilcabamba Valley in Ecuador. Some of the oldest lived people are in those areas. But it is not the longevity that impresses us. It is the normality of life into very old age. Even though the pharmaceutical companies claim this is merely “anecdotal evidence,” it sure impresses us. And yet studies show that when these very same people move to an area where they adopt the western lifestyle, they also experience the same diseases. Japanese women, with their very low incidence of breast cancer in Japan, have the same rate of breast cancer as American women do, if they move to the United States. In short, from these statistics we must assume that we are giving ourselves cancer. But not only cancer: heart trouble, strokes, arthritis and a myriad of degenerative diseases.

And yet, even for intelligent people, the mind control of the media is so strong that most of us can’t really believe that. Even your editor, after having skin cancer for several years, then diagnosed with an abdominal tumor, decided to try the protocol used by Dr. Loraine Day, M.D., in her recovery from breast cancer. In a sense I took a chance with my life, yet when the skin lesion fell off my face after 4 1/2 months, I literally couldn’t believe it. I went into the bathroom and looked in the mirror and the area where it had been was pink. So I splashed alcohol on it. Usually with skin cancer there is an open sore and it will sting. It did not sting. It had healed.

I stayed on the protocol for three years and then went back to a doctor because they had warned me not to wait six months because if I did I would have the surgery and by then it would be emergency surgery. Do you think I returned to see if the tumor was gone? Absolutely not. After being on the protocol for three years I decided I should go back and be sure it was not growing. That’s how incredulous I was. When I was told I no longer had a tumor I think my feet didn’t touch the ground for about three days, I was that excited. But why? Didn’t I expect it to go away? Yes with my logic, when I started I thought that. But the mind control is so deep that that part of me couldn’t conceive that it could really happen that I could be well. The point is that, even though I believed in it enough to do it, I could hardly believe it when it worked. That, my friend, is an example of the mind control that we are under and how effective it is and how deep it goes.

So I know how hard it is for you to believe the things you read about the fact that our health is in our control. It is only as it starts to make sense that we can act on it.

It is true that we give ourselves these diseases by the way we live and eat and think. And it does not have to be that way. We  have the power in our hands to change it. It just takes knowledge and self-discipline. You are getting the knowledge here, little by little. The self-discipline is something only you can develop. I suggest you begin now in small ways to deny yourself the things that tear down health instead of constantly indulging them. I have seen people whose lives hung in the balance who just did not have the time to build the self-discipline that they need because their illness was too advanced. Self-discipline doesn’t come at birth. It is built gradually. If we had parents who consistently made us do the right thing, whether we wanted to or not, it is possible we can move into adulthood with that ability. but if we didn’t. then we have to build it ourselves. But we can do it.

We decided to show you some examples of people who have lost little or nothing as they aged. We will bring examples to you occasionally. This man was started on a health protocol by his own father when he was five years old and followed it all his life. For you with young children, we suggest you consider this carefully. Later we hope to bring you, in person, people who have returned themselves to health. However, Four Flags Journal is not about health. It is about freedom and personal sovereignty. This we do because we believe that one cannot be free when one is dependent upon the medical-industrial complex for their lives and well-being. For this reason, one of our personal flags is our health insofar as we have the power to change it.

Today’s example is Bernando LaPallo, born in Brazil in 1901 but brought to the U.S. as a child by his parents, At the time of this video he was 108. Last I checked he was 112. But the point that we make is not longevity. Our point is the fact that he is living a normal life at this age, appearing in public, writing, going to Florida to visit his daughter. He isn’t in a nursing home sitting in a chair watching TV with people taking money out of his wallet.

Please remember that this is presented only for your education and enjoyment, not for medical advice. We do not give medical advice. If you have a medical problem we suggest that you consult a health professional. If you are on pharmaceuticals, do not stop taking them except under the supervision of a medical practitioner. Seriously this can be dangerous. I have seen people come off of blood pressure medications very quickly under their physician’s watchful eye. It’s a good example for the physician as well, to actually see that happen.
